Christine Kersten was born on May 30th, 1974 in a small village called Zoelen in The Netherlands. She was given the full name Christine Cécile Amélie.

At the age one and a half she moved to
Maastricht, where she grew up, lived an played with her two elder sisters. She went to a
primary school called Stella Maris and later went to high school (Jeanne d'Arc College), were she graduated
in 1992, passing her 'gymnasium' level.
Christine then started studying Computer Science in Enschede at Twente University. In 1993 she also started studying Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society. Master's degree in both Computer Science and Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society followed in 1998.
As from 1999, Christine lives in The Hague and worked for the Dutch Chapter of the Internet Society until January 2001. From February 2001 she works as junior e-business project manager for Fortis Bank Netherlands. She is involved in e-business, website building, Dutch internet policy making and of course a huge fan of Royalty.
Furthermore she is involved in gymnastics, likes reading,
