Survey Results - Should Haakon marry Mette-Marit?
From January 12th until February 5th, 2001 readers could post their opinion on if Crown Prince Haakon of Norway should marry his fiancee, Mette-Marit Tjessem-Høiby.

- If Haakon wants to marry Mette-Marit, let him abdicate his title and do what most of the world does - work for a living!
- Yes, but only if Mette-Marit is suitable in terms of personality and education and can handle a "regal" position.
- Why is he bothering to marry her? Even the father of her baby didn't marry her. She will sleep with anyone.
- He's in love with her. The King and Queen approve of the relationship, so there's nothing anyone can do. I think it's great that they're engaged.
