Survey Results - Should Willem-Alexander and Máxima, your opinion?

During the month of February, visitors could post their opinion on what Willem-Alexander and Máxima should do if they were to get married.

The survey was held before the engagement was announced. These are the results:

Comments:

  • She cannot be blamed for her father's (past) mistakes, but even though he was no Junta member (=not a military) and even though he was never tried for what happened in Argentina hen, he was a member of a criminal organisation who made people disappear. The man is a criminal.
  • Máxima's parents were never married! She is illegimate and, therefore, unsuitable to be Queen.
  • They will be a beautiful couple to be very proud of, but we should not discuss so much in detail about her father, just ignore that man for what he did unless he pays the price by excusing himself seriously for all he stood for during his presence in the disrespected government within the Argentinian history !
  • I feel the child is a reflection of his/her parents
  • The people criticizing Máxima need to get a life and shut up!
  • Why should the activities of her father have anything to do with what kind of queen, wife or mother Máxima would make?
  • The problems of Máxima's father is not her guilty. It belongs to the past. The future is now.
