and Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz were married at city hall and at the St. Michiel and St.
Goedele Cathedral in Brussels today.
The civil ceremony was conducted by the major of Brussels, knight François-Xavier de Donnea. The couple was married in church by Cardinal Danneels.
Mathilde's beautiful dress was made by Eduard Vermeulen from the fashion house Nathan. Mathilde wore the veil that belonged to the family her mother in law, the Ruffo di Calabria's. This veil was made for the wedding of the grandmother of Paola, Laura Mosselman, in 1877.
After the ceremony the couple went to the Royal Palace for lunch and official pictures. In the evening there was a beautiful party at the Palace of Laeken.
