Marriage Cristina & Iñaki

October 4th,
1997 - Cristina, infante of Spain and Iñaki Urdangarín Liebaert where married at the
Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona today.
The couple was married by Ricard Maria Carles, archbishop of Barcelona in presence of most of the European Royalty.
Cristina wore a beautiful dress designed by Lorenzo Caprile.
The mess and the songs were held in spanish, catalan and in bask; in honor of the couples ancestry and work place.
After the mess the couple first visited the basilic of La Merced, where Cristina offered her bridal bouqette of flowers to the holy virgin. It then went on to Palacete Albéniz for the lunch. When arriving the couple was offered the traditional 'aurresku' by a dantzarri (official basc wedding dance).
The couple changed their wedding rings on their right hand, which is the habit in Catalunya.
The couple will continu to live in Barcelona, capital of Catalunya.
On October 2nd Cristina and Iñaki had their bachelors party and a day later the couple was offered a grand gala at Palacete Albéniz.
