Willem-Alexander & Máxima visit Flevoland

October 17th, 2001 - Alexander and
Máxima visit the Holland's youngest province: Flevoland.
Today the tour started in Flevoland's biggest city: Almere. After arriving by train, the couple had only 25 minutes including a presentation about the new city center. It then went on to the Batavia shipyard, where replica's of former VOC ships are built.
In Lelystad the couple took time for the Research instute ID research, famous for it's research in biological things (BSE, MKZ).
