Maria was born in London on September 17th, 1968 as Marie-Chantal Claire Miller. She is
the second daughter of duty free billionair Robert Warren Miller and his wife Chantal.
Marie-Chantal has a older sister, Pia, who is married to Christopher Getty and she has a
younger sister, Alexandra, married to Prince Alexander of Furstenberg.
Marie-Chantal spend her childhood in Hong Kong. She was ten years old when shewent to Switzerland with Pia. She also studied at a bilingual school in Paris, France, before starting University in New York, USA. Marie-Chantal studied History. Marie-Chantal met CrownPrince Pavlos of Greece in 1992 in New-Orleans. They immediately fell in love. On January 9th, 1995 Pavlos and Marie-Chantal were officially engaged. They were married on July 1st the same year in London. Both Marie-Chantal and Pavlos like skiing and nautic sports. It was at their skiing holiday that Pavlos asked Marie-Chantal to marry him. In January 1996 Pavlos and Marie-Chantal announced they were going to have a baby in July. Princess Maria-Olympia was born on July 25th, 1996 at the Cornell Medical Centre in New York USA. Her brother two brothers, Constantine Alexios born October 29th, 1998 and Achileas Andreas, born on August 12th, 2000; were also born in the same hospital. Pavlos and Marie-Chantal make there home in Greenwich, Connecticut. They hope that one day they will be able to return to Greece.
