Iñaki Urdangarín calls it quits
May 30th 2000 - Today Dutch Parlement gave consent for the marriage of Prince Bernhard jr. and Annette Sekrève. This means Prince Bernhard jr. will remain sixth in line to the throne and Annette will become member of the Dutch Royal Family. Children born within this marriage will get the surname Van Oranje Nassau Van Vollenhoven
May 30th 2000 - Iñaki Urdangarín has announced his retirement from professional handball after the Olympics of Sydney. In a press conference attended also by his wife, Doña Cristina, he told the press about his difficult decision to leave Palau Blaugrana.
