- The latest addition to the Royal Family of Jordan was born on September 26th, at
2.22 a.m.
Queen Rania gave birth to Salma at the King Hussein Medical Centre in Amman. Salma is the third child of King Abdallah and Queen Rania. Their other children, Prince Hussein (6) and Princess Iman (4 on September 27th) went on a visit the next morning.
Salma was declared a Princess by her father, immediately after birth. She's a healthy baby, weighed 3.3 kg at birth.
The Queen and Princess Salma are pictured on the right, when today the Queen left the hospital.
