He weights 4.070 kg and is first
child of Infanta Cristina of Spain and her husband Iñaki Urdangarín Liebaert. The couple
were married on October 4th, 1997.
Juan was born at the Clínica Teknon in Barcelona, Spain at 2.10u.
Infanta Cristina went into the clinic the evening before and was assisted by doctor Manuel
García Valdecasas and his team. Both Iñaki and Cristina's mother, Queen Sofia of Spain,
were present at the birth. It was a natural birth.
The baby will be presented to the media on October 1st.
