State visit of King Juan Carlos to The Netherlands

- King Juan Carlos and his wife Queen Sofia are on a state visit to the
Netherlands.
The first day was filt with time in Amsterdam. In the evening there was a state banquette, which was also attended by Máxima Zorreguieta. Both she and her fiancée, Willem-Alexander where honoured with the Spanish order of Isabel de Catolica.
On the 24th, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia visited The Hague. In the evening the party, including Prince Claus, attended the opening of the exhibition ' From Pícasso till Tápies' at the city museum.
On the 25th, King Juan Carlos received an honour doctorate at the University of Utrecht.
