- Princess Margarita de Borbon de Parme, eldest daughter of Princess Irene
and Carlos Hugo de Borbon de Parme married Edwin de Roy van Zuijdewijn in the Cathedral of
Auch, France.
The couple had already married civil in Amsterdam on June 19th. The couple were married by Monseigneur Bär, former bishop in The Netherlands.
The couple decided to marry in Auch, because they recently bought a castle in the neighbourhoud.
Unfortunately the bride's father was unable to attend the ceremony, officially because he couldn't get out of New York in time. The ceremony was attended by several members of the Dutch Royal Family and members of other Royal Families.
