Elena gives birth to her second child

9th, 2000 - Infante Elena of Spain gave birth to a daughter today. Victoria
Federica was born at 13.00 hours, by caesarean section at the Clinica Ruber International
de Madrid. Victoria is the second child of Elena and her husband Jaime de Marichalar. The
couple has a two year old son, Felipe Juan Froílan, mostly just called 'Froílan'.
It is the first granddaughter for the King and Queen of Spain. The King and Queen also have Juan Valentín, the son of Cristina and Iñaki, who will celebrate his first birthday on September 29th. Cristina will give birth to her second child in November.
Elena was assisted by the team of doctor Emilio Esteban Carracedo. When the presentation will take place depends on how Elena will recuperate from the caeserean.
