8th, 2002 - Today Princess Laurentien of The Netherlands gave birth to her
first child, a daughter named Eloise.
The baby was born at 22.55u at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague. She weights 3715g and is 51cm long. Her full name is Eloise Sophie Beatrix Laurence, Countess of Oranje-Nassau, jonkvrouwe van Amsberg.
Proud father Prince Constantijn has said both mother and daughter are doing well and that he and Laurentien are extremely grateful and very happy.

Eloise is the first grandchild of Queen
Beatrix and Prince Claus and fourth in line of succession to the Dutch
throne. She is a member of the Royal House until Willem-Alexander will be
king.
